Macclesfield Tennis offers a full range of coaching from one-one-one tutition to group activities for younger and older members. Whether you are new to the sport or a regular player you will benefit from first class coaching at the club. Danny has been Head Professional at the club since 1994, he previously worked at The North West Regional Tennis Centre. During his career Danny has worked with players of all levels and ages, he is also an LTA Coaching Tutor and LTA Coach Mentor working to develop younger aspiring coaches. Coaching Programme The club has a large, progressive junior programme catering for players from 5yrs upwards at all levels. The programme also includes ‘The Academy’, 3 performance squads catering for the highest level juniors at the club and are by invitation. Junior Courses are held during school holidays from 10.00am - 3.00pm the next one being during the autumn half-term. Please check back regularily to keep up to date with what’s on. Competitive Opportunities The club is represented in the Junior North East Cheshire League by 8 teams giving juniors of all ages an opportunity to compete against other clubs. There is also an annual junior tournament held each year during June and July and regular short tournaments during the coaching programme to ensure players get to practice their skills in a competitive situation.
