Macclesfield Tennis Club has a long and proud history dating back to 1905 making it one of the oldest clubs in Cheshire.

The club was originally founded for the wives of cricketers and until 1992 the club was based at Victoria Road in the grounds of the cricket club.

Today Macclesfield Tennis Club is a vibrant, fun and social club.

The club is affilated to Cheshire County LTA which is part of the LTA. It is also a member of the Slazenger North East Cheshire Lawn Tennis League. The club was grateful to receive Lottery Funding in 1997 and 2002.  

Members are encouraged to become members of British Tenniswhich is free of charge and has many benefits.
